4th Mobility in Italy

Finally, after one year of delay due to pandemic, here in Italy our mobility started on the 4th of October 2021 up to the 8th and all the participants were at school at 8am on the first day where our students gave their welcome with a musical performance by our musicians.



Soon after, our Erasmus class guided the students for a visit to our institute, while our headmaster officially welcomed all the delegations.



A local TV troupe took some interviews and the morning ended with amusing ice-breaking activities.

In the afternoon, all participants gathered to be guided by our students through Adelfia, enjoying all the picturesque corners in our town.

Let's Create Bioplastic!

On the following day, all participants met at Biblioteca Comunale at 8.30am to start the science lab "Let's create bioplastic!", headed by 3 science teachers.


After a short break, at 11am each delegation presented their work on the assigned goals of Agenda 2030.


The afternoon was spent in Bari, where our tourist guide Caterina brought us from the Castle to the old town of Bari' to the Cathedral and to Saint Nicholas Church, and, after a stop on the Lungomare, everybody had some free time to walk downtown.



Visiting TECNOPOLIS

On the third day, all participants gathered at school and went by bus to Tecnopolis to attend some very interesting workshops:

- the first workshop was : Welcome Incubator Tecnopolis, where students learned about Tecnopolis, what is an Incubator and which services it offers, the Erasmus Plus Programme and the opportunities it offers;

- the second workshop was: 21 jobs of the future, where participants learned about new professions deriving from the progress of science and technology and which emerging occupations will emerge.

- After that, "From Idea to Business ", that is how to turn an idea into a successful product or business.

Soon after, we visited the Creative Hub of CC14Tourism Project.



Then the whole group moved to Alberobello, UNESCO heritage site for a guided visit and a typical lunch.

Pino Pascali’s Breeze Silkworms

At 4 pm, the Art STEAM Workshop, “Pino Pascali’s Breeze Silkworms” in Polignano a Mare Municipal Library started. The workshop was held by teachers Germana Genchi and Antonella Cimani, who first presented the Pop Artist Pino Pascali and his works and then guided students to “build” Pascali’s Breeze Silkworms using different recycled materials.


At the end of the creative workshop, a touristic train brought the students to say hello to the statue of Domenico Modugno.




Visiting DIVELLA


The fourth day started with a visit to DIVELLA Factory, the biggest industry of South Italy in the production of pasta. The group had the chance to enter the production unit in order to follow the entire productive cycle, from the milling of corn to the packaging and logistics of the factory. The plant is totally automated and we had the opportunity of watching these new technologies and these new machines, applied to the different areas of the productive cycle.


Let’s Become Archistars!


The second part of the morning was spent in the Municipal Library of Adelfia, attending the Technology STEAM Workshop “Let’s Become Archistars!”, held by teacher Antonio Fasanelli. The students had to assemble pre-cut pieces of wood in order to reproduce in scale the famous STELTMAN chair; after having assembled it, each group was free to decorate it, helped by teacher Germana Genchi.




In the afternoon, after the Coordinators’ meeting, the Farewell Ceremony for all the participants took place at school. On this occasion, school Headmaster Nicola Giovanni Errico and Italian coordinators Angela Maria Fasanella and Viviana Rita Pacciana thanked school staff, students and teachers for being involved in project activities and providing warm welcome to guest students and teachers. The Attendance Certificates were delivered to all partners attending the meeting.


Last day was spent visiting the wonderful city of Taranto.
